Medicine to my Soul

 This is my first post, and I found it entirely appropriate to dedicate my first poem to the man who has influenced my life in more ways than one, Mr. Jason Wade, the frontman of Lifehouse and the owner of Alliswell Records in Nashville, Tennesse.  "Medicine to my Soul" When I first found you My soul was shredded It was so delicate  It could have been whisked Away by the slightest of winds I could not bear the sight of Myself in the mirror I expected it to fragment  The minute I rolled in front of it I hated who I was And I was not sure if I could Ever be repaired But then I found you Your voice heals every cry That feels trapped in my chest I feel like I do not have to pry When I hear you sing It's almost like I gain wings I feel free to be me I feel like I can escape The world's darkest maze I know now that there are A variety of ways to escape the pain I can now play in the rain And feel free to gain again What I lost Your music is medicine  To my soul It hel...
